Dr. Sara is a passion driven woman with three strong girls. Her mission is to educate and empower women as they traverse the many stages of life and to promote the creation of space for them to make informed, intuitively-driven decisions throughout their motherhood experience. Whitney Bailey

Mom, Labor and Delivery Nurse, Birth and Bereavement Doula, Placenta Artist, accepter of any challenge, master of juggling all things, passionate about advocating for others

Whitney was born and raised in the Quad Cities. She has always been an advocate for others; whether it be when she worked as a social worker, a community doula, or as a nurse, she always makes sure that she is putting her clients and patients at the top of her priorities. She never stops learning and growing and puts everything she has into her commitments. As a hydration therapist, she wants nothing more than to educate others and to help them achieve their wellness goals. Whitney and Jess’s business, which is located within Motherhood Matters, is Quad Cities I.V. League.

Jacob Boraas

Dr. Jake’s passion is greatly focused on helping children of all ages. He has advanced training in developmental neurology and understanding what it takes to help a child progress properly. He hopes to continue teaching about not only the overall health of children, but also tracking crucial milestones to help healthy kiddos become healthy adults. Jake’s personal business located within Motherhood Matters is called Functional Healing Institute and will be accepting patients of all ages.

Jess Buntemeyer-Aiken

Jess was born and raised in Missouri but has proudly served the Quad Cities for the last 13 years. Jess puts 110% into everything she does. She is very passionate about birth work and is committed to advocating for others. When her first son Brayden was stillborn, she made it her mission to support and walk alongside families who would experience the same fate. She takes that same energy and pours it into helping others improve their overall health. Alongside her partner Whitney, they created The Quad Cities I.V. League as a way to bring customized IV hydration therapy to others so that they can feel like their best self! Whether it’s to recover, restore, or to relax, Jess and Whitney will hook you up!

Erin Coffman

Erin’s roots are in the Quad Cities but she has taken various opportunities to live in other places such as Colorado and Calgary, Canada. Eventually, she and her husband landed back home to raise their girls near family. Erin has always been someone that others confide in and seek support from. She feels extremely fortunate to have a career that can center on her natural strengths and passions! What often brings people to Erin are symptoms of anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or past trauma – we all need a confidant who can listen, understand, and offer actionable solutions. Monica is a Certified Personal Trainer and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, taking a special interest in women’s health, specifically pre/postnatal fitness.  Her passion is to help women feel strong, confident, and empowered in their lives.  Whether you are trying to get pregnant, currently pregnant, recently postpartum, or even 10 years postpartum, Monica is there to guide you through safe exercises, nutrition support, and mindfulness to help support you and create a strong foundation throughout all areas of your health and wellness journey.  Monica’s personal business, Mama Bear Wellness, is located within Motherhood Matters.
